Therapist

Job Title: Adult Therapist 

Location: Bowling Green, Kentucky

Compensation: $42-$62 hour

Schedule: Flexible 

Reports To: Practice Owners

Position Summary:

We are seeking a licensed, compassionate, and self-motivated therapist (ex: LPCA, LPCC, LCSW) to join our private practice as an independent contractor (1099). The ideal candidate will provide high-quality psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and/or families, depending on licensure and scope of practice. This is a flexible position allowing you to create your own schedule and focus on clinical work while we provide administrative and billing support.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy in alignment with your clinical specialty.
  • Maintain clinical documentation in compliance with ethical, legal, and practice standards (e.g., progress notes, treatment plans).
  • Coordinate care as needed with other providers, including PCPs, psychiatrists, etc. 
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold all HIPAA and practice policies.
  • Attend occasional staff meetings or clinical consultations.
  • Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) for all charting and scheduling.
  • Participate in continuing education and stay updated on best practices in your field.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctorate in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure in the state of Kentucky:
  • Examples: LCSW, LPCC, LPCA
  • Ability to work independently while adhering to ethical and professional standards.
  • Liability insurance ($1M/$3M minimum).
  • Comfortable with technology including EHR, telehealth platforms, and email.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in private practice or outpatient therapy setting.
  • Interest or specialty in trauma, couples therapy, EMDR, DBT, or similar.
  • Credentialed (or willing to become credentialed) with major insurance panels.

Targeted Case Manager

The Case Manager’s primary job function is to enhance the overall treatment process by assisting counselors in meeting the overall treatment needs of the clients. This position requires an understanding of mental health and substance use disorders in order to address barriers, better tailor health messages, provide links to community resources and better identify a network of potential referral sources. The Case Manager will help the patient access support across multiple systems and frameworks of care.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or other human services field from an accredited institution or be a certified alcohol and drug counselor who has a bachelor of arts/science degree depending on the state requirements.
  • Have at least one (1) year of full-time employment experience working directly with adults in a human service setting after completing the educational requirements.
  • Ability to work with a diverse population.
  • Understanding of HIPAA, Federal, State standards & regulations.
  • Self-starter, able to work autonomously.
  • Customer service focused, eager and energetic.
